At Maharashtra Pet Shop, customer satisfaction is our top priority. While we strive to provide high-quality pet products and a seamless shopping experience, we understand that sometimes issues may arise. This Refund and Returns Policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, and exchanges for products purchased through https://maharashtrapetshop.com.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns only under the following conditions:
- The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect at the time of delivery
- You notify us within 48 hours of delivery by email or WhatsApp
- The item is unused, in its original packaging, and with all tags intact
- The product is not excluded under non-returnable items (see Section 5)
Products returned without prior approval or after the return window may not be accepted.
2. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at info@maharashtrapetshop.com or WhatsApp us on +91 98200 12345 within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide the following details:
- Order ID
- Product Name
- Clear photos of the product (showing damage or incorrect item)
- Our customer care team will respond within 24–48 hours with return instructions
- If approved, we will arrange a pickup or request you to ship the product back to our address
3. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the status:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method
- If paid by COD, we will issue a store credit or bank transfer after confirmation
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error
Refunds are issued only after product inspection and approval.
4. Replacements & Exchanges
We offer replacements in the following scenarios:
- Damaged or defective items
- Incorrect items received
If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full refund or store credit as per your preference.
To request an exchange, please contact our support team within 48 hours of receiving your order.
5. Non-Returnable Items
Due to hygiene, safety, and perishability concerns, the following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Pet food and treats
- Opened or used grooming products
- Supplements and medicines
- Customized or personalized items
- Beds, mats, or toys that show signs of usage
- Any product after 48 hours of delivery
We request customers to check product specifications and sizes before placing the order.
6. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled only before they are dispatched from our warehouse. Once an item is shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation.
For prepaid orders, cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be processed within 3–5 business days.
